Annotation to the project:The spaceships “Soyuz” and “Apollo” met in space on June 17, 1975. and successfully docked. The crews visited each other, undertook joint research work, exchange of national flags, commemorative medals, and seeds of trees that were planted in the USSR and the USA.
It was the first space flight, which was attended by pilots-cosmonauts of the different countries. This flight became a symbol of the fact that all people on our planet can live in peace and friendship.
