Hello, dear cosmonauts of the International space station. My name is Ann Galtzeva. I’m a student of the 6th Form in Panino secondary school. A little story of my life is a little grain of sand in the history of our country and of our planet. The Earth is so large, but from space you probably see how little it is. It is so important to save peace on our planet, in the whole world. You know there is a war only 250 km from my house.
Today I would like to tell you some stories from my life and ask you about something. As my mother told me (and I remember it only according the photos), when I was one year old I fell ill with cancer. Some people said I wouldn’t be able to overcome sarcoma, but my mother and father, doctors and nurses, our relatives and friends, absolutely unknown people believed and the wonder happened. I came back home after I had spent in the hospital more than a year. Now I go to the hospitals in Voronezh and Moscow to be examined. I had been asking my Mum to visit the Space Museum for a very long time. After I had been discharged from hospital in June of this year we went to the museum as we had a lot of time before the departure of our train “Moscow – Voronezh”. I like to go to the museums and I have already visited more them twenty museums, but I have never seen such an unusual one. I have been of space and everything connected with it before. But now I’m very interested in it. We were offered to see a film about the work of the spaceship, and I saw your week-days and the equipment of this huge home on the Earth’s orbit my own eyes.
In the museum I had been standing near the stand where your work with alive organisms was presented for a long time. I liked flowers and cereals you have grown in space very much. I especially became interested in your work with micro organisms. It’s very important for me because my friends Ilya from Orel and Stepan from Vladimir couldn’t cope with this terrible illness and after they had been discharged from the hospital they lived for a very short time. But they remained in my soul and on the pictures in my album for ever.
Dear cosmonauts, please find some means from cancer. Nowadays a great number of people on the Earth need such medicine. Your researches must find this magic means without fail.
I’d like to tell you some other short story from my life. I had some virose infection three years ago in September 2012. I was already on my way to recovery but suddenly one morning I couldn’t stand up, I couldn’t keep on my legs. I crept to my parent’s room and first we went to Panino hospital and then to Voronezh. It turned cut these little viroses so influenced on my organism that all my body became paralysed. I couldn’t turn from side to side, raise my leg or my arm. I could hardly speak. All my body was as it was wadded one. Ten days passed and I began to recover. But a month later everything repeated again. And in a month it happened once more. My Mummy carried me in her arms all the time. We asked the doctor: “Why does it happen?” he answered that it was because of viroses in my organism.
I ask you very much to study how these little viroses influence on man’s organism, how to oppose them. I wouldn’t like other children to be in bed as a log of wood and they couldn’t move.
Dear cosmonauts, please repulse intrigues of these little enemies of human organisms with the help of your scientific researches.
I’m in the 6th form and I haven’t decided yet what to be in my future. I won’t be able to become a cosmonaut because of the problems with my health. My favourite school subject is biology. I hope I’ll grow up and do the right choice of my profession.
